What Is the Washington Post Hiding About Its Jared Kushner Story?

WASHINGTON POST: "Hey guys! We have this letter that's totally a smoking gun linking Trump's son-in-law to Russia!!" AMERICA: "Cool!! Can we see it?" WASHINGTON POST: "Uhhh, no."

Protests erupt over racism at Evergreen State College

Social Justice Warrior Wednesday: This dove-tails nicely with the walk-out last week on VP Mike Pence by Notre Dame graduates who clearly didn't learn respect for their $70k per year. Now we have adults screaming at other adults at Evergreen State College, because the poor things have been taught that racism can be seen anywhere. So naturally, they see it everywhere. Our colleges and universities have sown this environment, so now they reap it. Hard to feel too sorry for them, but having a kid on the doorstep of this insanity does make me a bit nervous....

Kathy Griffin Beheads Donald Trump in Shocking Photo Shoot (PHOTO + VIDEO)

America, circa 2008: right wing provocateur says that he hopes the incoming president "fails", and the morally indignant, self-righteous left loses their ever loving minds. America, 2017: hoping that the president fails seems downright quaint compared to the actions of this left-wing provocateur!! Look, Kathy Griffin is a talentless harpy who isn't worth anyone's attention on her BEST day. But this hateful shrew has had a regular gig on CNN, and if that network doesn't immediately condemn her behavior, well... let's just say it would play right into a certain stereotype that the right has about the media. This is not going to help you people win back Wisconsin, but by all means keep trying!!

Texas "bathroom bill" near collapse over GOP standoff

Dear state of Texas, Please drop this. There is nothing in this world that smacks of "big government" and "intrusion into privacy" more than passing a law that dictates which bathroom people can use. Please come to your damn senses. Sincerely, Someone who don't need to prove his conservative chops to nobody.

Republicans' win in last night's Montana election is great news for Democrats

No, Vox. This is not good news for Democrats. You're forgetting that the GOP candidate has a spot of legal trouble that likely cost him votes on Election Day. You're ALSO forgetting that while the state of Montana is "redder" than many congressional districts, it ain't exactly the Deep South either. Montana has a Democrat Senator, and just re-elected their Democrat Governor last fall (when Trump was winning the state by 20 points). So it's not like the Democrats CAN'T win there. Your takeaway from the Montana race should be this: the Republicans ran a carpet-bagger who likes to manhandle people and you STILL lost. Your ideas are unpopular outside of the liberal bubbles inside the major cities. Candidates matter. But by all means, take your time reaching this conclusion...

How a dubious Russian document influenced the FBI’s handling of the Clinton probe

I'm dreadfully tired of hearing about or talking about the e-mails, but they just keep coming up. Now it seems that the honorable Jim Comey was duped by Russia into letting Clinton off the hook back in July. If Russia was hacking the election, I'd say they did a pretty poor job of it. Why, if I didn't know any better I'd swear that they actually wanted HER to win, not him!! I mean, she won the popular vote and all, right? Surely the Russians don't have better knowledge on how our electoral college system works than the Democrats, right?

Opinion | Now Montana Knows Why Early Voting Is Bad

Democrats love the early voting. Always have. Can't get enough of it. The earlier, the better!! They'd have everyone voting in September, if it was allowed!! So it is with great glee that I read of the results from Montana's special election yesterday. The Republican candidate, who got a little rough with a reporter earlier this week, wins comfortably because two thirds of Montanans had already cast their ballot. I now wait with great anticipation to hear all of the liberal condemnations of early voting, much like I heard in the wake of Trump winning the electoral college vote. Because early voting is stupid, and yesterday is why. The end.

Appeals court upholds block on Trump's travel ban

Don't let the 10-3 ruling by the Fourth Circuit fool you; Obama appointed six of these judges, and Clinton another four. Now the only question that remains is how Anthony Kennedy feels on the matter. And just like that, America realizes why so many people voted for Trump despite their misgivings; with another four years of liberal/progressive judicial appointees, the law could end up meaning whatever the DNC feels like it means that day!!

Poll: 55% of Democrats think it's probably or definitely true that Russia tampered with vote totals to get Trump elected - Hot Air

Despite repeated denials from Barack Obama, James Clapper, and the now-sainted James Comey, Democrats polled are actually more likely now to believe that Russia tampered with the ACTUAL VOTE TOTALS than they were in December. We're officially in "Republicans who believe Obama was born in Kenya" territory here; a preposterous notion that is actually believed by an uncomfortable number of people....

Bernie backers rage over Calif. Democratic Party chair race

If you remember last week, I noted that there is a pending lawsuit against the DNC for failing to pay minimum wage and overtime for field workers during the 2016 campaign. So today comes this piece of deliciousness regarding, well, let's just take it from the article, shall we? "Ellis, the former director of Emerge America, a women’s political organization, lost the election by a narrow margin of 62 votes out of 3,000 cast. Her loss immediately set off protests from hundreds of her backers, many of whom charged that there were irregularities that included allowing voters to cast proxy ballots WITHOUT PROPER ID."

The Flightin' Irish: Dozens of Notre Dame students walked out when Mike Pence took the stage

Yes, this is sure to win back Wisconsin and Michigan and Pennsylvania; let's have a bunch of privileged college students walk out of a ceremony simply because of who is speaking. Because nothing says "I'm here to listen" quite like taking your ball and going home, and making a show of it all the while. I wonder if any of these super smart kids have any idea just how foolish they look to 90% of the country because of this. But hey, why should that matter when your check-in from the "resistance" got a thousand like and hundreds of re-tweets, amirite??

CNN Faces Growing Racial Discrimination Lawsuit

Fox News gets into legal hot water, and you can't escape that News because it's broadcasted everywhere. Nonstop. Tips For Washington Post Trump Articles Based On Anonymous Leaks

If you think you've heard the term "unnamed sources" a lot lately, you're simply noticing the obvious. Everyone has a story these days, but nobody seems to want to put their name behind it. And news outlets are all too happy to run with a story if it sounds interesting enough. In an era where numerous TV shows have seen their ratings improve when they took an anti-Trump stance, why should we believe that news outlets, whose primary job is to sell newspapers or mouse clicks, wouldn't also be motivated by the possibility of bigger numbers? Is it at all worth mentioning that the Washington Post is owned by Jeff Bezos? Look up his political affiliations and tell me with a straight face that there isn't a problem. From my personal experience, many news stories in the past few months have turned out to be just that: stories. This is why nobody of certain political persuasions trusts the media anymore.

People are marrying themselves, it's called 'sologamy'

Part of me wants to make a crack at how self-absorbed we've all become in such a short amount of time. But this story sounds like it's more sad than anything else, and perhaps a little troubling too. We're somehow so isolated despite being constantly plugged into everyone in our lives. Strange times....

NY public college’s choice of Linda Sarsour as commencement speaker decried

This is not a post condemning Linda Sarsour. It's also not a post condemning her controversial comments regarding Ayan Hirsi-Ali (hint: it's at least as bad as Trump's infamous quote, and it pertains to the same body part). No, this post is merely an observation that CUNY (and Dartmouth, where she's also scheduled to speak) will not have to hire extra security for her speech, and will not attempt to move it to an out of the way location. Her speech will go on. Because in an era where college speakers frequently are either rescheduled to off-peak hours, canceled, or shut down before they can even speak, Sarsour will not have to worry about that. No, this post is about how the extremists on one side of the political debate in this country have impulse control, and the other side's extremists don't. There will be no broken windows or fires set or people sent to the hospital as a result of Sarsour's address. Because the right knows how to behave, and the left doesn't. Remember that the next time someone lectures you about the "tone" of political debate these days...

Rep. Maxine Waters' confusing interview on James Comey's firing throws MSNBC host for a loop

After toiling largely in obscurity for decades, Maxine Waters has become the face of the Democratic party in recent months. This is indeed improbable, until you realize how few elected Democrats there are these days; it's pretty much down to the House members who represent the big cities, who are so safe in their districts that they can be as loony as Waters is here and pay absolutely no political price. Of all the flip-flopping that I've seen over the past two days, this episode stands head and shoulders above the rest as the most entertaining!!!

Comey’s Deserved Dismissal

"As for the Russia probe, if Mr. Trump is trying to cover up anything, firing the FBI Director is a lousy way to do it. Such a public spectacle will make details more likely to leak if agents feel their evidence is being sat on. Mr. Comey’s credibility was also tainted enough that whatever he announced at the end of the probe would have been doubted."

Butler’s Trumpism course causing controversy

I jokingly said to whoever cared to listen that the events of the 2016 would be a college course some day. Granted, I expected that a bit of time would pass before that happened. Silly me!! NOTE: The course description in this article has since been sanitized for a more general audience. However, this being a college campus and all, I'm forever believing that the first version will be the more accurate version...

To read the original op-ed, one can ONLY come away with the idea that the writer not only believes that climate change is real, but that humans are responsible. Opinion | The past 100 days have been a disaster — for Democrats

"Democrats are completely focused on placating their frothing, left-wing, anti-Trump base — and the American heartland thinks these people are insane. They see women marching in anti-Trump rallies wearing “pussy” hats (and placing them on the heads of young children)."
