Colorado Voters Are Canceling Their Registration After Trump Request For Voter Data

There are two obvious reasons one might have to request that they be de-registered to vote: - If one moves away - If one dies, in which case someone else is likely doing the de-registering The only other reason that I can think of for de-registering is if one shouldn't actually be registered in the first place. I'm stumped as to any other rational reason. Because Name, Year of Birth, Party, and Voting History (whether or not one voted, not for whom) is pretty benign information, if you ask me. And it's just that information. No Social Security number is being provided, no date of birth, no legal status, no mailing address. So the fact that there is a serious uptick in the number of people asking to be de-registered in light of this perceived threat tells me something. And the fact that the left is (predictably) up in arms about it tells me even more. If there's no fire, it's sure hard to tell through all this smoke, is all I'm saying... #nomorevacation
