4 Election Workers Charged With Fraud, Voter Intimidation
We always hear these stories in the days leading up to an election. Back in May 2015, now-disgraced Philly DA Seth Williams sent four people away for similar transgressions. But in the end, these stories all seem to have similar elements. And if you know me at all, you know what I think those elements are....

Former NPR CEO opens up about liberal media bias
"When you are liberal, and everyone else around you is as well, it is easy to fall into groupthink on what stories are important, what sources are legitimate and what the narrative of the day will be." Think about what you see in the news, and also what you DON'T see. I'm not just imagining that there's a liberal bias...

Florida Democrat calls Niger ambush 'Trump's Benghazi'
Trump's Benghazi? I dunno. Wake me when we uncover months of e-mails asking for additional security that were denied by Secretary of State Trump, when we hear Sarah Huckabee-Sanders blame the ambush on an obscure YouTube video, or when we hear an exasperated Rex Tillerson exclaim "what difference at this point does it make" when asked to speculate on why four Americans lost their lives on the continent of Africa. Because from my vantage point, the number of dead and the general location are about the only things that these two tragedies have in common. I'm happy to compare the two, if you leftists prefer. It would just be weird, though, because the same group of people who said for many years that it's wrong and abhorrent to politicize the deaths of Americans are suddenly all too happy to do so...

Florida Democrat calls Niger ambush 'Trump's Benghazi'
Confused. I thought that there was no "there" there in Benghazi. That's what I was told by people from the left for years, anyway...

WATCH: ABC's 'Nightline' Profiles Ben Shapiro
The left always telegraphs who they fear the most. And in this case, it's a scrawny Jewish millennial who seems to have their attention. Major kudos to Nightline for highlighting two things: 1) The lengths that Conservatives need to go to just to ensure their own safety on college campuses, and 2) The utter contempt that college progressives have for the Constitution.

Cities make last-ditch effort for Amazon's second headquarters
Am I the only one who has a problem with big cities offering huge incentives to Amazon to construct their new headquarters? I'd make a point about these tax breaks being offered to Amazon are being dangled by big city progressive Democrats, who then drone on about the rich "not paying their fair share", but I've long given up expecting any kind of consistency from those people...

Clinton on Weinstein: 'I was appalled'
Hillary says she's "appalled" by the behavior of someone who she knows well (and whose foundation received truckloads of cash), but when asked to differentiate between Harvey Weinstein's behavior and her husbands, she rambles incoherently. Happy coincidence, then, that she "broke her toe" shortly after this interview and had to cancel a lot of media that she had previously scheduled!! Her story: That she broke her toe wearing high heels and walking downstairs while holding a cup of coffee. Have you ever known Hillary Clinton to wear high heels? Initially a spokesperson said that she "twisted her ankle", Clinton herself later said that she broke her toe, but it seems as though she actually broke her metatarsal, which is a part of the foot and not the toe. This from the woman who was first "exhausted", then "dehydrated" before a video was released showing her collapsing in the street last fall, after which she was finally revealed to have "pneumonia". But totally not the contagious kind. And people still wonder why this person isn't president?

FBI uncovered Russian bribery plot before Obama administration approved controversial nuclear deal with Moscow
"They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill." This is not Breitbart, this is not Alex Jones, this is not Fox News. This is The Hill. If we keep seeing these acts of accidental journalism, I might have to think about dropping my "media bias" angle. But either way, I'm suddenly VERY interested in Russia again...

Lawrence Lessig lays out how Hillary Clinton could end up in the Oval Office
My goodness, we're still doing this after nearly a year?!? This sounds a lot like the third stage of grief ("Bargaining") if you ask me, but I'm no psychiatrist. Heaven knows it's not "Acceptance"!! Why even write this article at all if, as the author says, it would be "the most extraordinary event in the history of America since the Confederate Army fired on Fort Sumter"? Catharsis for the author, perhaps, but maybe at some point people want to take a look at why the current occupant of the White House consumes so much of their attention and focus? I can't imagine that it's at all healthy. Sure, there were plenty of right-wing loons who thought Obama was never legitimate and should have been removed from office. But they were mostly fringe kooks who were blogging out of their parents' basement. They were not Harvard University professors, is my point...

Explaining Colin Kaepernick's Collusion Grievance Against The NFL
Explaining? This really needs to be explained? The guy doesn't want to play football, he wants to be an activist!! And his hiring of celebrity attorney Mark Geragos for this exercise in futility pretty much underlines, bolds, and italicizes that point. And it's the easiest case in the world for the owners to make, but winning this grievance isn't Kaepernick's intent. Because his standing as an activist only rises if the 31 white men (and Shahid Khan) defeat him in court. And I can't so much blame the guy. After all, if I already had millions of dollars to my name, I'd much prefer to bask in acclaim rather than having Fletcher Cox or Von Miller knock me into the stone age week after week...

Menendez trial judge weighs defense request to dismiss charges
Not that you'd know it from watching the news, but yesterday the prosecution rested in the Bob Menendez corruption trial. Now I know that we have a lot going on right now, what with recovery efforts from three hurricanes, a mass shooting with still no apparent motive, and a president that has as many unexpressed thoughts as a small child or a drunkard. But at least a LITTLE bit of coverage would be nice. The last time a sitting US senator was being tried for corruption, it was back in 2008; anybody remember what was going on back then? Yet somehow, the networks had PLENTY of time to cover that trial!! You can imagine why I think this one is being largely ignored...

Experts: Seuss would be 'offended'
Dr. Seuss was regarded by many scholars and those who knew him as a progressive liberal. But now that Melania Trump made a gift of some of his works to a militant leftist librarian? Well, now Seuss must be cast into the fiery pits of racism. This is just how the left works. It's why I don't take them all that seriously. Keep in mind, this article is from just four short years ago...

Challenge accepted: In the land of Lib-Town Where up is now down There lived a book worm Of quite some renown Her house full of books, In all crannies and nooks She had books about travel And good guys and crooks Then one day she heard As book ladies do That the queen from the capital Liked all her books too “Take these from the castle” The queen said with a grin “It is not a hassle We’re book-loving kin!!” The book lady screamed “YOU RACIST!!” with scorn “You can’t be a book lover!!” Then the book lady mourned The queen looked on, puzzled “But I don’t understand You have these books too, They’re in quite high demand” “You’re missing the point” The book lady cried “Now that YOU like them, They must be denied!!” “You’re a racist, you see, because everyone says so. I don’t know you myself, but that doesn’t matter. Doctor Seuss was a good guy, but now he’s no longer Since YOU seem to like him, his works I’ll not flatter.” And so the book lady, her principles sated Went right back to work, while others debated. Was she a hero, to spit on the queen’s gift? Or was she a hypocrite, wishing her own ego to lift?
