Menendez trial judge weighs defense request to dismiss charges

Not that you'd know it from watching the news, but yesterday the prosecution rested in the Bob Menendez corruption trial. Now I know that we have a lot going on right now, what with recovery efforts from three hurricanes, a mass shooting with still no apparent motive, and a president that has as many unexpressed thoughts as a small child or a drunkard. But at least a LITTLE bit of coverage would be nice. The last time a sitting US senator was being tried for corruption, it was back in 2008; anybody remember what was going on back then? Yet somehow, the networks had PLENTY of time to cover that trial!! You can imagine why I think this one is being largely ignored...
