I normally give the media a hard time, because they deserve it, but kudos to them here for actually painting a more fair picture. What's curious, though, is how suprised everyone reacts. They were SURE that their taxes were going up. I can't blame them, really. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and Chuck Schumer and countless other Democrats had been lying to them for months about what the Republicans were actually trying to do. Now, this might not change anyone's vote to Republican, maybe they'll be a little more skeptical of what the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) tries to sell them in the future...
