New York Times forced to correct editorial after Scalise shooting

Yellow Journalism (noun): Journalism that exploits, distorts, or exaggerates the news to create sensations and attract readers. Honest to god, I can pick out at least one news story per day that is either factually wrong or grossly misleading. It was bad before, but it's getting worse. It's one thing when it's fringy, conspiracy theory stuff. But when it's the Washington Post and the New York Times and the major networks? Unacceptable.
