George Ciccariello, Drexel professor, wants to ‘vomit’ when troops given first-class seats on plane

There's an old saw that goes something like this: "Liberals want Conservatives to shut up, but Conservatives want Liberals to keep talking." The upshot is, the more they talk, the worse they sound. Case in point, this ass-clown. Not content with the shit-storm that he created a few months back with his "All I Want for Christmas is White Genocide" tweet, he's clearly decided that he's going to swing for the fences whenever the spirit moves. And Drexel won't do a gosh-darned thing about it, unless alumni start closing their checkbooks....

Trump signs bill to rollback regulations on BLM’s Planning 2.0

The "authoritarian" is ceding even more federal authority and returning it to the states. Trump is many things. Power hungry (at least thus far) does not seem to be one of them. If you still believe the man is an authoritarian, then it's possible that your definition of the word is not the same as mine...

There are few things I love in this world more than the activist-left getting out over their skis. It's almost a daily occurrence. But then, when you're taught that racism and sexism and bigotry can happen ANYWHERE, it's a small surprise then that these dweebs see injustice EVERYWHERE!!!

Nebraska Dems criticized by far-right outlets for giving voter-registration forms to refugees

This woman is easily the most deranged person to every represent any political party in the history of ever. So the fact that she's surprised at the outrage over her video is not the least bit surprising to me. And I am deeply skeptical of this part: "Now people are calling me a traitor and (saying) I should be executed," Kleeb, a mother of three, said Friday. Bullshit. Show me a police report that says you've been threatened, or you are just talking out of your ass to cover for your own stupidity. There has been plenty of threatening, intimidation, and outright physical violence since Trump has been elected, but a heaping helping of it has been dished out by HER side!! This woman really truly sees absolutely nothing wrong with passing out voter registration forms to: - People who literally just got off the boat - Who likely cannot even read English - People who are not going to be US citizens for AT LEAST five years!! I say again: Democrats want more and more completely ignorant people registered, because they believe it will benefit them. There is literally no other reason to pass out voter registration forms to refugees. Because as we all know, Democrats would NEVER try to get ineligible voters registered. They just apparently expect refugees, who will likely relocate once or twice before getting settled, to totally keep a document that they can't even read in a cherished place for five years before they can legally use it. That's not fishy AT ALL!!

House GOP abruptly scraps health care vote

When the Democrats passed Obamacare in the first place, they had so many seats in the US House (255), that they could afford a lot of defections and ideological purity. Even still, the party was punished unmercifully in 2010 for not listening to their voters. Will the GOP suffer the same fate? Hard to say, but they always say in college football it's better to lose early than to lose late. But for all this talk I always hear about gerrymandering every two years, I can't help but notice that the advantage the Democrats had in the 111th Congress is far larger than anything the Republicans have enjoyed since...

Boyertown HS student, parents sue school district over locker room privacy

So I don't much care for lawsuits filed against school districts. They're often doomed to fail. And that includes this particular plea for normalcy. And if you really have to ask why a teenage boy might not want to see a pair of boobs when he's mostly-undressed in front of his friends in a locker room, then you either: - Have never been a teenage boy yourself, or - Are purposefully forgetting just how little control you had over certain uncooperative body parts at that age

Antwerp driver faces terrorism charge - BBC News

Oh, you silly BBC. The "French National" part of this story is as irrelevant as the "North African origin" part. The Westminster terror attack was committed by a British national, the Bataclan attack was perpetrated by French and Belgians, and the Orlando nightclub shooting was carried out by an American. But their country of origin really didn't have anything to do with anything, now did it?

Schumer: Democrats will filibuster Gorsuch nomination

On August 6th of 2009, Sonya Sotomayor was confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice. Republicans were disappointed, but the ideological balance of the court was not in jeopardy. And, understanding that elections have consequences, nine Republican Senators voted with all the Democrats to confirm her, and a Senate filibuster was never seriously considered. Almost exactly one year later, Elena Kagan was confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice. Republicans were no less disappointed than the previous year, but again, the ideological balance of the Court was not going to change. Thus, still understanding that elections have consequences, five Republicans joined with all of the Democrats (except Ben Nelson), to make her the most recently appointed Supreme Court Justice. Again, though the final vote in the Senate was a little closer, a filibuster was never seriously considered. So today, in the spirit of the minority party in the Senate respecting the wishes of the majority Senate and President...

Neil Gorsuch facing 'rigorous' confirmation hearing this week

What to watch for: Grandstanding. Nothing but grandstanding. A guy who was unanimously confirmed in 2006 by a Senate that contained such figures as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Chuck Schumer will now be deemed to be unfit to serve and borderline insane by Democrats. But not by all Democrats. Watch in particular how the Democrat Senators from Montana, Indiana, West Virginia, and North Dakota proceed. All are up for re-election in 2018, and all serve states that Trump won bigly. Some pundits think that Democrats will largely hold their fire on this one. After all, replacing a Conservative textualist with another Conservative textualist does not alter the ideological balance of the court. Or at least, what it had been. And if they only push back lightly, watch as the base gets enraged by their lack of fight, and move to primary relatively safe incumbent Senators like Claire McCaskill!! But if Anthony Kennedy (age 80) announces his retirement soon, grab your valuables because replacing a moderate Conservative who was the swing vote on the Obergefell decision with another Conservative textualist (one who is less likely to find the word "marriage" in the 14th amendment) will be apocalyptic in the eyes of the left, who has long viewed the courts as the ones who truly make the law (except when it's a law they don't like, such as the Citizens United case, the Second Amendment, the First Amendment, the Fourth Amendment, and you know what, just throw in the whole Bill of Rights). About the only thing worse would be if Breyer or Ginsberg were to announce their retirement. Which, with Trump being the one to nominate their replacements, is unlikely...

Disturbing Report by Saudi Prince That Obama Turned Down Money, Troops to Fight ISIS

Bret Baier is seen as a bit more of a straight shooter than most who appear on Fox News. So what Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud says here is intriguing. I'm not exactly sure what he stands to gain by lying, other than to simply dump on Obama. But if he's telling the truth, what does that say about our former president's commitment to defeating terrorism? Regardless, given how eager people in the media were to take pot-shots at GWB after he left office, the fact that this claim is going largely un-reported (and un-challenged) by anyone in the media other than Fox should say a lot. Unless, of course, one feels that the Obama administration turning down military support from Saudi Arabia to fight ISIS abroad is not newsworthy...

Dakota Access case: Army finishes $1.1 million cleanup at camps as four more dogs rescued

Again, I'm super disappointed that I have to turn to the Washington Times for this story. In large part because it's a glorified tabloid, but I firmly believe that had the Tea Party left such a mess behind, we'd have heard about it morning, noon, and night for days on end, and the whole movement's reputation would have suffered. But even if the Tea Party HAD left such a mess behind, the irony of the whole situation is simply unmatched; ENVIRONMENTAL activists protesting a pipeline leave behind such a mess that it takes 835 dumpsters and $1.1 million of taxpayer money to clear...

St. Louis man charged with nationwide string of bomb threats against Jewish facilities

I trash them when they're wrong, so I appreciate it when they're right. So kudos to the Chicago Tribune for publishing most of the items that make this story so interesting to me. Because the perpetrator of a number of these bomb scares at Jewish Community Centers is an anti-Trump leftist with apparently little love for white people who was fired from his job at a website because he was a purveyor of fake news. The only thing left off of this story is his apparent support for Bernie Sanders (according to a Twitter post from July). So according to the rules that the left has laid out for Trump, Bernie Sanders now has until the end of the day to disavow the actions of this individual. And he must do so resoundingly, and repeatedly. Yes, of course it's ridiculous. Most of the left's rules are. But as Bernie himself said just last week, “I hope very much that President Trump and his political adviser Mr. Bannon understand that the entire world is watching, that it is imperative that their voices be loud and clear in condemning anti-Semitism.”
